Dear Sir,

We are writing this letter to express our deep concern about the potential appointment of unqualified individuals to head our nation's polytechnics. In particular the Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa.

As you consider appointments to this critical leadership position, we urge you to prioritize professionalism and expertise.

This is because appointing unprofessional individuals can have far-reaching consequences, which includes:

  • Undermining the quality of education and training
  • Eroding the credibility and reputation of our institution
  • Discouraging innovation and progress
  • Fostering a culture of mediocrity.

Polytechnic play a vital role in developing our nation's workforce and driving economic growth, particularly Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa.

It is essential that anybody appointed to lead the school possess the necessary skills, experience, and expertise to navigate the complexities of technical education.

We therefore implore you

to consider the following when appointing the new rector:

  • Relevant academic qualifications
  • Proven track record of leadership and management
  • Technical expertise in the relevant field
  • Commitment to academic excellence and innovation

By prioritizing professionalism, you can ensure that our institution continue to thrive and produce skilled graduates who can drive our nation's progress.

Thank you for your attention to this critical matter.
