NDE, NASITDEA Partners to Advance Digital Skills and Employment Initiatives

In a significant move towards enhancing digital innovation and Digital entrepreneurship in Nigeria, the Director General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE), Silas Agara, warmly welcomed the General Director and CEO of the Nasarawa State Information Technology and Digital Economy Agency (NASITDEA), Haruna Sani Sani, at his residence in Akwanga.

This visit highlighted the commitment of both leaders to harness technology for economic development.

During the visit, discussions centered around potential collaborative initiatives aimed at improving cyber security measures and advancing National Blockchain technology across Nigeria, with a particular focus on enhancing the digital landscape in Nasarawa State.

Both directors shared insights on the importance of fostering an ecosystem that nurtures technology-driven entrepreneurship.

Silas Agara emphasized the strategic importance of digital literacy as a foundation for empowering the youth in Nasarawa State.

He assured the NASITDEA CEO of his commitment to establishing a strong partnership, particularly in training programs that will equip individuals with the necessary skills to thrive in the digital economy.

In line with these goals, Agara announced the NDE's upcoming initiative to create approximately 55,806 jobs, a program set to launch next month.
