In a powerful call to action, House of Representatives member Jeremiah Umaru on 28th October, 2024 emphasized that justice and honesty are the bedrock of global peace.

Speaking at the Maulud celebration in Akwanga, Umaru challenged Nigerians to uphold these timeless values, stressing that they hold the key to a harmonious society.

"As we celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), let us remember that justice and honesty are the foundation upon which peace is built," Umaru urged.

The Maulud Celebration was

organized by the Akwanga Muslim Community sponsored by Hon Jeremiah Umaru and the Maulud celebration drew dignitaries and community leaders from across the region.

Umaru also encouraged Muslims to embody the Prophet's exemplary qualities, citing his compassion, humility, and commitment to justice.

"By embracing these values, we can create a better Nigeria, where everyone has equal opportunities and lives in peace," he said.
