A call has gone on Kano state government, and Muslim Ummah on the importance of taking care of all broken down grave yards sighted I along metropolitan Kano and beyond, as grave yards is our permanent abode. Therefore keeping it safe secured from all hazards is a most to all of us.
In a statement by one Ahmed Husseinu Ahmed of Dala Quarters in Kano viewed with concern of conditions of these our cemetery, describing the disrepairs and uncaring.postire by both govt and.muslim ummah as a source of concern which calls for urgent attention.
For example the grave yard situated at Gidan Gina Kano along " Layin Ganduje" was among the worst hit damaged to a point that wild animals are tearing the flesh of the dead bodies of their graves, saying when I saw this horrible situation on visitation of the cemetery, I nearly fainted, as I was so emotional, said Ahmad.
The story was the same with other cemeteries in different locations in the metropolitan Kano, advising it was about time for the state government of Kano to swing into actions in seeing to
the general improvement in giving our grave yards a face lift being a permanent abode of each and everyone of us after our living. Therefore taking care of it is Paramount to us he declare.
Furthermore he call on the Muslim Ummah to imbibe the spirit of grave yards visitation as a source of renewal of Faith's as well having the symbols of getting closer to God in seeking for his Devine mercy and repentance over our misdeeds at all times, as well offering a bless full prayer for our departed souls.
According to him taking the stock of periodical visitation to our grave yards will afford us paying more attention in keeping them neat secured and rejecting repairs where necessary.
